Default Help getting videos offline for use in classes

hello everyone. I am looking for some help in copying videos that are online, youtube for example, and saving them to be able to use them when teaching where I have no internet connection.

    Any advice, ideas, solutions?

    Thanks for the help.

How do you use that to download them to use offline?

when you install real player it has a little pop up box when you are viewing a video -you click on it to save them in a real player download "album" you can then move them to different folders

Depending on your computer, you may want to get a flash drive. Some videos can eat up a lot of space.

Download the free version of YouTube Video Downloader. Save them as MP-4 format and you can play them on Window's media player with no problems.
If it downloads as a .flv file, covert it over to the mp-4 format.

I have a portable hard-drive I store various photos, articles, videos, etc. on for training moments. You can then embed them into power points. If you have a USB 3.0 connection, you can use it off the portable drive, otherwise, upload a copy of the file to the computer you're going to use while teaching so you don't have skips in the video.

I have youtube downloader for all of my staff computers in our school district. It is safe and it works well.

Plug the URL of the youtube video into this website:
    http://keepvid.com/

*the big green download button is spam. Make sure to always click the little "download" button next to the url entry box*

I've done many youtube videos this way and it works like a champ.
