POSITION TITLE: FIREFIGHTER

STARTING SALARY: $30,373.68 Annually
HOURS OF WORK: Varies
POSITION SUMMARY: Job responsibilities include work related to fire suppression, fire prevention education, rescue, Hazmat and basic emergency medical services and the operation and routine custodial maintenance of department equipment, apparatus and quarters.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Job requirements include, but are not limited to, high school diploma or GED and Possession of NPQ Fire Fighter I Certification. NREMT certification is not required but highly preferred. Must have valid Georgia State Drivers License and provide a current (less than 60 days) satisfactory 3 year motor vehicle report (MVR) when submitting application packet.

Anyone hear any rumors as to how many they are hiring? Going to get my app in asap since the posting states it is open until filled.
