Bolling AFB and Naval District Washington recently posted a job on USAJobs to which I applied. I recently made the list and was referred to the hiring authority about a month ago. I received an email from the Deputy Chief asking if I was still interested in the job to which I applied yes. My question is, typically how long after this does it take for whatever the next step is. Is their usually an interview or is there something else going on between when I replied and whenever the next step happens?

Do you know what schedule they work? Is it the 24 on 24 off or the 48/72?
I've been trying to get some info on the department but no one seems to have any insight. Sounds like a great place to work with the surrounding areas being so active with fires and rescues.
