    Default TEEX/FFacademy.com review

First of all, I apologize if this is has already been discussed, I didn't get any relevant hits with the search function.

I am a new NR-P in CO looking to attend a fire academy, its seeming like local departments are pretty much universally requiring at least FFI/Hazmat OPS for Fire/Medic applicants. Instead of waiting around for some department to pick me up, I am looking for a high quality fire academy to attend in the very near future. None of the local academies are running until fall, and none of them have the greatest reputation.
I was turned onto the TEEX online/hybrid academy several weeks ago,and it seems like it may be a good option for me. I am very aware of the excellent TEEX reputation, however I have not heard much about the online academy and I am slightly weary of completing my fire education online. Is there anyone on this forum with a strong opinion about it?
The program is very expensive, almost as expensive as my medic program was. Is it worth it?
I sought out one of the best paramedic programs in the country, and would like to do the same with my fire academy, so I can truly feel like I have the foundation to be the best FF/Paramedic I can.

    Thanks for your time!

Thank guys! Ive looked at training division as well, however i am a little more comfortable with something that is university backed. Has anyone had exposure to training division vs TEEX? I would consider it if its considered comparable in the industry. I should also add that my physical fitness level is already very high and I have had 550hrs of 48/96 experience in a high volume Fire/EMS system for my medic internship. So Im thinking that that may make the online approach appropriate. Thanks again

Know a few of the instructors and a few of our gouts have gone through with no complaints

They train a lot of Canadians

No nothing about teex, first I heard they were doing an online, but would trust them

Give training a call for any questions you may have,

Plus easier to get to through DFW airport , just a few miles south of FW
