Thumbs up Dallas Fire Rescue 2014

The minimum requirements for candidates are:
•Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and not have reached thirty-six (36) years of age on the date of Civil Service written examination administration scheduled for March 17, 2014
•Minimum of 45 semester hours of college from an accredited college or university with a "C" average or better, or 4 years active duty military service (Honorable Discharge)
    •A valid driver's license
    •No felony convictions

Yes, the deadline has passed and applications are no longer being accepted... That being said has anyone received an email other than the confirmation that your application was received ?

I have turned in both my application and transcript but my application status is "[I]Application under review.[I] Does anyone know approximately how long the application process take?

I went into the Human Resource building to turn mine in, and it took about a week for them to respond.

I'm in the same boat ElJesse.. Applied the day after the application process . Got my transcripts mailed the same day. Still waiting on an email, getting nervous. Human resources won't let you know if they have received them due to the large volume of applicants. I think I'm gonna be taking a trip to city hall.

If you fly southwest you land almost downtown dallas

Is the test at the convention center? If so by love field and plenty of hotels between love field and convention center

If you go to tripadvisor and put in dallas hotels

Once you get there click on map and it will show you hotels in area

I used public transportation when I tested w/ Dallas. The hotels in downtown Dallas were pricey. God speed.

This is my first time testing with DFR, is there anyone that has had experience in the past with this dept., such as length of time between testing and events, interviews, etc...?
