Study Seeks Relevance of Higher Education in Fire Service Promotions
Contributing Editor at Firehouse Magazine, and staff member at Eastern Kentucky University, Paul Snodgrass, is researching the relevance of higher education in the officer promotion process. The national study is seeking fire chiefs of U.S. paid departments to participate in a research to better understand higher educationís value and cultural significance in department promotion procedures.
If you are a fire chief of a predominately paid department, please respond in confidence to email@example.com with your name, email address, and department name. A follow-up email will set a convenient time in the next weeks for a short telephone survey.
Results will be the basis of a future article in Firehouse Magazine.
