    Well unfortunately for me as it turns out that will be my partner Margaret at that class. Tried to get her to let me do it but, she wants that one so...it's hers. Maybe next time.

    The Lynnfield /Wakefield class is the only appearance of Kurt in New England before AFG opens. Hope to see you all there.

    Alright folks I am staying as far south as I can get till end of April but I am warning everyone, " The Iceman" will be in the air on Wednesday . Headed to Long Beach Mississippi near Gulfport on Wednesday for a class. Lots of students in this one, we have not been to Gulf Coast in awhile. Still seats available if you hurry.

    Kurt, have you and/or Brian considered offering any kind of online training session? A virtual classroom-type thing, perhaps run through Google Hangout or a similar videoconferencing system?

    Thought about it, solves some issues but not others. 8-10 hours is a long video-conference to run too, introduces a newer set of issues/challenges/costs. In person still is better considering the topic and fluidity of presentations.

    Wow, looks like I'll be hitting Glacier National Park right when they get the "Highway to the Sun" completely plowed out for spring/summer. Got a class going in Cut Bank, Montana on May 2-3 which is right outside Glacier National Park... already have two long distance students coming in for the class so they can do a quick vacation over in the park also before they have to go back. Have not been to Cut Bank since I was up there with Uncle Sam in 1973 so really looking forward to this trip. Plane tickets are already bought so this one is a definite go, still seats available for those that want to see Big Sky. http://www.firstrespondergrants.com/..._view/class/85

    We had the Iceman (aka) Kurt for this class in Northeast PA. Excellent class for anyone doing grants or interested in doing grants. I have had a lot of success after taking this class, i have learned to look outside the box not just at big grants, but other avenues of finding funding for non-profit 501c3 organizations.

    Thanks. That was still probably the most scenic and picturesque hotel I have ever stayed in for a class Wilson. I really enjoyed that trip and still remember that great antique wheeled hose reel you guys have restored there in the Fire Hall.

    Looks like Kurt might even make it to New England with nice spring weather when he comes up to Lynnfield Mass.

    I also highly recommend his course to all aspiring grant writers. The payback will be tenfold easily.
    I just pulled out his course manual from ten years ago today to look for an answer to a question I had about how to answer a local grant fund question.

    Only a few hours east/southeast of you, teaching a 4 hour general non-profit class on the 26th in Houston. If you can gather some people up I can travel up that way, been quite a few places with folks on the forums here. I just don't book in advance, costs money to reserve rooms and whatnot, drives up the prices which defeats the point of cost-effectiveness.

    Brace yourselves New England..... the Iceman takes to the air winging it north to Massachusetts on Tuesday morning early. This trip ought to be fun since I am still nursing a sprained ankle from this past week. Going to be fun trying to make it through the terminals with this ankle and luggage.

    The ICEMAN lives up to his well deserved reputation.
    Here it is April 16th and we wake up to a fresh 4 inches of snow this morning.
    all he needs to do is get within a couple hundred miles.

    Have a good day down there in taxachusettes today :-}
    We're having a litter of new Labradors today. :-}

    Iceman log: Stardate 041714 Capt Kurt reporting: Iceman continues the legacy of bringing snow and ice wherever he travels across this universe. Native lifeforms greeting us were unarmed and not hostile. Life is good. Day 2, the journey continues. Kurt out!

    Well another one bites the dust; class that is. Great class in Lynnfield, MA. Next up Cut Bank Montana... back to the Big Sky country on May 2-3 and going to take a couple of R7R days to let the better half see Glacier National Park for the first time. Been 35 years since I was up there last, I bet a lot has changed. Really anticipating this one and there is great participation showing so far. Coenm on up to Big Sky Country and join us.
