Are they first time awards for your department or did they show up on a previous 1199a from a prior award? If it was the latter, you do not have to print them out, you don't need to do anything.

There are previous awards and that is where it showed up. Others that I have helped with that had previous awards showed the Print Button, but theirs was several years back.

After it's printed and faxed they have to hit a verification on their end that makes the Print button go away. Sometimes they process without ever hitting that on the back end. I've had several that way, they get awarded and have no issues but the Print button is still there.

Found a regional SCBA for a 1st timer host and a 1st timer for PPE (Micro) yesterday. Wonder what today will hold...other than boatloads of rain around here. No complaints, lawn's looking better than when we laid the sod originally and no sprinkler.

Found an Ops for PPE this morning, then a regional PPE this afternoon that wasn't there earlier. So looks like the manual rollout is the M.O. for today too.

I got this 1199 back on 6/2 and had the department submit their form by 06/06. It was accepted by the accounting department on 06/10. They got a call from the Senator's office on 6/25.

Anyone know why no awards were made / posted last week? Will there be awards made this week?

Got our 1199 notice five or six weeks ago and made sure we're up to date on all necessary registrations, banking, etc. Still no award. Thought for sure I'd see us on the list for 6/27. Now I'm getting nervous. Anyone have insight as to why it would take so long? Should I put in a call to our local congressional rep?

I know that feels like forever, but six weeks is not excessive. Stay tuned.

Yes, just ensure you're matched in SAM.gov with your application and 1199A. I have 1199A requests dating back to 4/3 still not announced yet. You have to have GREAT PATIENCE like me.

Your official award will not be till tomorrow. If you are the primary contact you will receive an email tonight from AFG officially announcing it. The awards do not get published on their website sometimes for days and they never get published ahead of the official notification letters going out. What has happened is the Congressional notification letters went out yesterday which alerts your local congressmen that your department is about to be awarded. The congressmen usually issues a press release, calls you and the news media picks up on it ahead of you. Just relax the official award will be delivered in the morning to your regular email inbox in time for you guys to enjoy a great 4th of July and celebrate with a huge Happy Dance and Fireworks display to signify same.
