OK Kurt, what in the world are you doing where Fat Albert and the Blue Angels are together? Don't get me wrong they're both great, just can't picture what even has both.

SUn & Fun Fly-in is this week in Lakeland. Fat Albert is their C-130 support plane which opens their show oding a STOL landing and take off etc. prior to the boys in the F-18 tearing up the sky. Its quite impressive and considering that one of my AFSC in USAF was as a loadmaster on C-130's its almost as exciting as the fighter jocks! http://www.theledger.com/article/201...s-at-Sun-n-Fun

Show at 1500 hrs so I am done checking 1199as till later and I am headed over there.

Ok, so edumacate me a bit. These updates were for grants that were originally filed when? Last year sometime?

I know my chief has put in for grants, but I'm not sure on the details. Just want to give him a heads-up to be on the lookout.

I hope AFG Program Office keeps flying through these awards as fast as those jets are flying through the sky at the show today!

I wish I had taken a camera and Galaxy 4 in bright sun does not work well at all as you can't see screen but trust me when I say it was awesome,my eardrums can prove that. USAF Thunderbirds I think are better but, I'm partial!LOL Now back to clicking.

As of 4/4 at 1900 EST, we had no movement on our grants. One was a micro for a TIC, the other was for a mini-pumper. Chief checked following a chimney fire call; I mentioned this thread on the way back after the call...

Make sure the primary contact is monitoring email for some questions from FEMA--stuff like "Would you accept if awarded" and that kind of thing. Answer them quickly, then it's just a matter of when it gets processed and when they start rolling out awards.
