Round 1 is coming next week, I'm sure they're getting ready for that. Mainly MGs.

Will write up about the changes coming for 2014, alterations to matching, and clarifications on Regional Vehicles.

Yep, Round 1 this Friday. AFG Chief said it himself in the Town Hall at FDIC. Any department that had multiple people there should have dropped one into this meeting, people were asking questions and getting answers from the top 2 themselves. Plus several regional reps were there also. They always have a booth, but Town Halls are a great opportunity to hear questions from others and their answers.

Changes coming to the matching as well as bid-related items that are going to have a big impact across FEMSA/FAMA. Will try to get that stuff out in an article in the next 2 days.

Got my 1199 on friday with an email that I need to closeout a 2006 SAFER grant and a 2009 station construction grant to move forward in 2013. The only problem is its a "paper" close out and I am unfimiliar with the process. I am currently on my 40th minute on hold with the help desk. Anyone got the packet and willing to share?

Were you able to get the documents you need? I have the paper forms for SCG closeout and older SAFER closeouts if you need them.

If you have trouble logging on to the site, clear your browser history and try again. They've had issue with regional servers and when you logon it tries the last server you were on, so if its down, you cant get on, clearing history will allow logon to search for a working site.
Server is shown on FEMA header mwdzua84 is the one I am on, number will change when history is cleared.

Will there be questions emailed out this year before awards? What's the process for this year after you get an 1199?

Questions (if any) come after the award like last year. Same 30 days to accept online also.

You're not on this week Barry, 43 on the list coming out Friday, based on our list looks like all the ones that were in the first group to get hit with 1199As.

Guess no one found anything today? Must have been commo day yesterday, Kurt found one and I found an MG for repeaters. Still makes me as happy as a bigger award, this one will almost be the same size as the department's annual budget. So much more satisfying of a career than software development was....

"Patience Grasshopper" the very first round of awards is not even till Friday. It may be a month or so before you actually receive official notification. That is only a preliminary notice, not the official award. All in due time.Oh and by the way the form is an 1199a not a 1099.

The AFG sends an email to the Primary POC and to the mail center (need to log into system).

There is no set time frame for when the AFG posts the lists. Typically it is posted on Friday, but could be done days later.
