New LAFD Vehicles
LAFD has bought another batch of KME's and Dodge Ambulances. Units that I know got the KME's are E88, E89, E77, and E87. For the Dodge's they seem to be replacing the BLS ambulances now due to almost all the ALS rescue having them already. I know RA889, and RA873 have gotten these new dodges. As for Trucks, I have heard that Pierce won the bid but KME is fighting against it. Can't confirm anything.

I have a huge problem with Ford and issues we've had with them in general. Anyone running a Dodge 4500 or 5500 like LA and having issues? I like the Cummins but hear of issues with the automatic transmissions."Share your knowledge - it's a way to achieve immortality." - Stolen from Chase Sargent's Buddy to Boss program

Not really interested in risking it with their latest attempt at a diesel engine."Share your knowledge - it's a way to achieve immortality." - Stolen from Chase Sargent's Buddy to Boss program

the 7.3 was the last good diesel that Ford had under contract.
The 6.0 was a disaster and more recent engines have been so-so.
