    Default Minimum equip list nfpa 1901/1906

    hoping someone could help me out with the minimum equipment list for a brush truck. i need a list to compare to what we do and do not have. looking for most recent edition. thanks. disp2030@gmail.com or post to this thread

    I would reccommend the NWCG equipment stocking list for Type 6 Engines as a good starting point, or else the USFS Red Book.

    for some examples.

    you might also want to contact your state forestry agency and see what if anything they require (this becomes important for interagency or regional mutual aid)

    Type 3: Minimum water tank of 500 gallons; minimum pump flow of 150 gpm
    Type 4: Minimum water tank of 750 gallons; minimum pump flow of 50 gpm
    Type 5: Minimum water tank of 400 gallons; minimum pump flow of 50 gpm
    Type 5: Minimum water tank of 400 gallons; minimum pump flow of 50 gpm
    Type 6: Minimum water tank of 150 gallons; minimum pump flow of 50 gpm
    Type 7: Minimum water tank of 50 gallons; minimum pump flow of 10 gpm
    What type are looking to equipment and what are the planned use for the truck and what is the terrain it will work?
