High school diploma or GED.
Must have current State of Georgia Paramedic license, or be currently registered with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as a Paramedic.
Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driverís license and/or Georgia Commercial Driverís License (CDL) including appropriate level/endorsement(s).
Must meet all requirements and certifications.
Must be at least 18-years of age.
Must be a US Citizen or possess resident status.
Must obtain and maintain additional certifications, such as State of Georgia Firefighter I, Hazardous Materials Awareness, and/or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications, specific to assignment.
Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services (CCFES) covers 122 square miles and serves a population of over 259,000. CCFES is a ISO Rated 3 department that staffs and coordinates 309 personnel at fourteen fire stations, 11 engine companies, 3 ladder companies, 3 truck companies, 12 med units, quick response vehicles, 4 shift supervisors and a host of special operations equipment. Fire/EMS Operations personnel work a 24 hours on 48 hours off schedule.
