May God be with all those who lost loved ones, friends and neighbors. We have all lost brothers and sisters in both fire and ems. May God give those sifting through the rubble the strength to do what is needed and the guidance and resources to do what needs to be done. Protect them and keep them safe while they clean up what took so little time to create -- and DAMN the bastards that could be so callous and heartless as to even dream of such an act.

God bless all who answer the call, may they all be safe and with us all!
Begin with the end in mind.

    Be safe out there!!

We awoke in Australia this morning to see the devestation on our television screens, and our immediate thoughts were of shock and disbelief.

Then we learnt of the terrible toll taken on our firefighting family, the loss of unbelievable numbers of our brother and sister firefighters. The thoughts and prayers of all Australian Firefighters goes out to the FDNY, and to the families of the fallen. This has shocked us all. Flags at stations here are flying at half mast in tribute to our fallen fellow firefighters.

We may be a long way away, but believe us when we say we are there right alongside you.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
    John 15:13

Let not your hearts be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in me.
In my fathers house are many mansions: if were not so I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
    John 14:1-3

When Jesus saw her weeping and those who had come with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled.
    Jesus wept.
    John 11:33,36

The honor, admiration, and respect, bestowed upon our great profession has been bought and paid for with the sacrifice and blood of our own.

To New York's finest, I say you are just that. I salute you and yours. May God's comfort and peace be upon you all. I pray that I might face my hour with such courage and resolve.

Our hearts are full of sorrow tonight for brothers we have never known. We pray for their families that God will watch over them . We can only imagine the things that they seen, felt, and heard. They will remain in our thoughts and prayers for now and eternity along with the remaining emergency workers still on the scene. God Bless

All Australians were shocked and saddened to see this dreadful act today. I cannot even try to comprehend the suffering of all those who have lost family members in the line of duty. For those of you left, please stay safe, our prayers are with you. Please try to ensure that you dont lose sight of your faith, or your immense value to your communities.

Not only pray for the FDNY fallen and their families, but pray for the rescuers digging in the rubble and those responding from all over the world. Pray for them not only during the next few weeks, but pray for them in the following months ahead as they deal with what they have seen. If you have an American flag in your house, get it out and display it proudly... it is in our darkest hour that we must come together!

    Tears from Denmark (Europe)

I send you my sad thoughts, the firecommunity even over here are in a state of chock and disbelief.

A crule act of cowardness as taken away the life of so many people this morning. It hurts to see the pictures on CNN.

My thoughts goes to our collegues in FDNY who are no longer among us - and to the men and women that has to try and find the remains. My heartfelt sympati to you all.

Stand tall - give it all - come out strong.

    But always remember the fallen.....

    I salute you
