Stop by the firehouse.

These are my opinions and not those of my department.

It all depends on wether or not they have Jr. firefighters. Mike's right, the best thing you can do is stop by the firehouse...that's how I got into it. You may have to wait till you're 18, but you seem like you've got the desire. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

The best advice has already been given. Stop by the firehouse when you see some vehicles outside and just ring the bell. They will be more then happy to give you an application im sure. Good luck, let us know how things work out.

Have to threepeat what has already been said. However, I will add that you could call and find out a convenient time to see someone, and that you should start as soon as possible. Our application process takes almost 6 months from start to finish due to arson background checks, physicals, etc.
