Question What do you use for live fire training?

What does your Department use for live fire training, Do you have some type of pre fabricated facilitty or do you use actual structures?, My department has been fortuante enough to be able to use actual structures, Recently the Sav-on Coporation donated us a large structure to toy with, So far we torched it for R.I.T. use and collapsed it for U.S.A.R use

We use the county burn building at the county fire academy.

The statements above are my own opinions

    We prefer using live fire.

    But seriously...

The county burn building, flammable liquid pits, drafting pits, etc. are available and we use them a few times a year.

If we can get them and use them safely, we'll use buildings slated for demolition, although PA Dept. of Environmental Resources has made that almost impossible these days (don't let me get started on this...).

For non-structures, we've got sufficient space in a number of locations to burn cars, trucks and things like that on occasion, just to keep in shape.
