    Question PPV ventilation

anyone have any information on the use of PPV fans and carbon monoxide being placed back into the structure from the PPV fans exhaust?

Our safety guys here did testing at our fires for awhile, they found that the PPV was putting out almost as much carbon monoxide as we were facing during the overhaul stage. Now we are supossed to keep our SCBA's on as long as there is visible smoke or the fan is running.

Agreed, we have gotten readings of more than 35 ppm inside structures where the ppv has been running.
