I need some serious help, i have taken over 50 or more civil service tests and keep getting killed on them, i have been a firefighter for more than 5 years and need help to get on a career dept, please if anyone knows of some sites or anything that has access to these test please e-mail me thanks, email is firstname.lastname@example.org

There are plenty of books available at the library about passing civil service exams, not sure of the names though.
Have you ever thought about township fire departments? They generally use tests based on fire knowledge or don't test at all, rather hiring on reputation.

Look, keep on trying. I have 24 years on the job. I have been a lieutenant for 15 years, the last 10 on the busiest 3 engines in our town. I'm a state instructor and have written articles for several magazines. I just finished 23 out of 24 people on a promotional exam. I don't know what happened. I just know this, effort=results, so don't give up!
