Do the aluminum air tanks that are fiberglass wrapped come under the 15 yr. DOT rule the same as the composit tanks do? Also any opinions on choose the wrapped aluminum over the all aluminum tanks?

Yes they do, any cylinder that has a wrapping falls under the 15yr rule. Stay with the wrapped cylinders for one main reason, lessen a firefighters load and he can last longer. Another thing to look at is, you are well into your career and just now having to replace cylinders? are you going to be around for the next 15? Dont leave the FF's saddled with carrying as much as 10 extra pounds into each house fire as your retiring legacy.
