When buying thermal imaging cameras be sure to get in writing that the company you are buying from will pay for training through a reputable thermal imaging training company.
They may tell you training is provided but you will be shown how to turn it on and off and how to put it in the case by a salesman who was selling Hoover vacuum cleaners 6 months ago. DO NOT LET THE TI MANUFACTURER DO THE TRAINING. My area bought almost $250,000 worth of cameras and we later called them asking for a few thousand dollars for good quality training by experienced firefighters, WRONG thing to do.
We are fairly happy with the cameras we bought (I cant tell you which brand but can only hint) but feel they could have given in a little for training. Get it in writing before writing the check...
