Default Radio Communuications Audio "Footage" Needed

    Hi all,

I will be doing a lecture on fire dept communications for a firefighter I class soon and I wanted to get some audio footage of quality dispatches and some fireground traffic. The target audience is recruit level, so I am not looking for "wacker" city stuff, more like suburban company operations. Any ideas? I would also like some examples of mayday transmissions if anyone has access to these...and any unique examples that would be good to present to this type of audience. I am looking for good examples of radio use to help illustrate to them. I suppose that I could also use some bad examples for reinforcing how not to talk. Thanks.

look for the "other PG County Companys" audio recordings. There is a "mayday" tranmission and many other fire calls.

for all of them, maybe 100+ fire clips

    Mayday call

    Operations

Per the website to line up the clips, listen for the evacuation tones for a guide.

Unfortunately, the IC is TERRIBLE and should not be allowed to talk on the radio EVER EVER EVER EVER!!! A good lesson in what not to do I suppose.

You are soooooooo right about this IC. These are really good training tapes for proper radio communications.
