Default changes in the fire service

What changes would you like to see in the fire service or what changes do you think will take place due to the attack on america. Will NFPA 1710 or 1720 get put in place, what about states that dont have 25 year retirement will that be a hot topic after all of this is behind us.

And those things would have anything at all to do with an act of terrorism how????????

FDNY already well excedes NFPA 1710 standards, and (I believe) has a 27 year pension plan.

Im not just talking about New York and Terrorism im talking about the fire service in general. I am very sure that the FDNY exceeds in the fire service very well. I was asking if something good will come out of it or will all of the attention that the fire service is getting is just going to blow over and we go back to the back burner until another tragic event happens again.
