The blue gloves are also from Morning Pride. I believe that FDNY uses Gauntlet style gloves. I use them to -- gauntlet style gloves -- I feel they are easier to use.

To answer your question, the gloves worn by FDNY are made by Safeguard America & are a gauntlet style (without a Nomex wristlet).

I`d take a look online, or in the pile`s of Firehouse magazine`s you most likely have at the station.

FDNY does have some great gear though, a few guys at our department have the exact same thing, with Belltown instead of FDNY obviously. I`m getting some as soon as I can come up with the money!

51Truck, I've seen several pictures of FDNY members having the long coats are you guys going back to them in place of the tails coats? Or are you allowed to purchase them yourselves?

far as a good Moring Pride dealer we got one about 15-20 miles from our station(Maplewood,Oh) They are real good we get almost everything from them. They are called Fire Safety. most all the fire depts around here go to them.
oh by the way( i know this doesn't concern me) but I like long coats better(i've used both short and long coats) The ONLY guys i think that should use is like pump operators, extrication specialist, basically the guys outside the fire. I know the long coats are a little heavier but i'd rather have a little more weight than be burnt.
I think I have the last long coat at the station everyone else has short coats.
