About LinkBacksMy brother just received an award from his department for outstanding service. My department does not have such an award. What does your department do to recognize outstanding work??????

Are stations have such awards as:
-Fire Responder of the Year
-EMS Responder of the Year
-Excellent Drill Attendance
-IC of the Year
-Officer of the Year
-Hot Shot of the Year
-Rookie of the Year
-Attack Team of the Year
-Others include recognition for certificates
achieved during the year, etc

You can see what awards we offer at our website: http://www.icfd3.org/Awards/2000.htm . It was suggested that we trim the awards down to make the event go faster but that idea met opposition. I like to recognize as many as possible.
