    Post Public Education Study

My department is looking for a measurable study involving the effects of public education. Example: A department started a public education campaign on smoke detectors five years ago. During the next five years after, there was a measured decrease in fire related deaths in the home. We need hard factual evidence to present to our city council. We have had no luck in finding clear indisputable evidence. Please contact me if you know of any such study. Thank you very much.

Try NFPA or the USFA-FEMA's sites.

We've tried that. No one has done a study.
