    Post National Firefighter's Day

    I haven't been on this forum for awhile so I do not know if this link has been posted before or not.

    National Firefighter's Day Petition

    I know firefighting is not about receiving recognition but I think if this became a reality it would mean alot to the mothers, fathers, sisiters, brothers, and children of firefighters in this country.

    Our Mayor has already assigned a firefighter's day but I think it needs to be national,maybe even international.

    I sent in this petition, along with so other stuff on funding. I recieved a letter from Rep. Tom Osborne (NE) and it wasn't one that was just rolled out. It actually addressed my concerns. I hope that everyone will continue to send messages to their representitives in DC about all things that concern us.
