I would like to hear your stories, or be told where I can find on the net, about lawsuites against fire departments or cities. Specificly lawsuites by homeowners, citizens or firefighters in which the f.d. or city was found liable. Stories such as f.f.s suing for injuries claiming lack of training, lack of equiptment etc. or homeowners suing for f.d.s not properly fighting a fire, etc.

No. Just trying to use it as leverage in departmental improvements. People get worried when they learn how easy it is for them to be sued.

I am looking for departments that may have been sued for lack of sop/sog, training, whatever.
