How many agencies are using surface washing agents to reduce the slickness associated with road side fuel spills?

Salt Lake County has not found anything other than sand that is truly legal.

After the product is mitigated by HM Team and the surface area has been examined by the health department/EPA (based on RQ for that specific product) we go from there. Normally vacuum site and lay sand down to reduce slickness.

There are products out there that say they are approved but not without a lot of extra work that we have found.
