Post Decon lines

How do you all set up your decon lines? How many stations do you normally use and so on? We are looking at having the decon line already preplanned for the basic stuff. Any and all information would be great.

One of the best ideas I have seen for setting up a decon line is to start with a large tarp. All stations and areas are pre-marked, just un-roll the tarp and set up the equipment.

Most common decon line is a 9 step process

    Hot Zone
1)Tool drop

    Warm zone
2)Gross decon-shower
3)Wash & rinse
4)Outer PPE removal
5)Inner PPEremoval

    Cold zone
6)Medical monitoring
7)Remove inner clothing
8)Shower/dry/redress
9)Documentation
