There is a very good video out that was done for NHTSA-DOT, Ron Moore was the project leader while working for FETN.
It gives you soup to nuts on all the different types of airbags including the impact curtain.
Title: "Emergency Precedures For Airbag Equipped Vehicles"
This program depicts proper extrication procedures for the mordern extrication, and a valuable time line of the history of airbags.
I was one of the lucky ones to be able to work with Ron on the film, so there is a personal interest side...And as a vehicle extrication instructor/developer, I highly recommend it.
If you have a hard time aquiring information email me.
