Browsing through some of the various rescue equipment sites and saw the RescueLogic Smartchocks. They are metal objects that can be adjusted from 5 to 18 inches in height and used as a stepchock(but probably not inverted). They appear to be real space savers on the rigs, in addition to being able to span a greater height than any of the stepchocks we carry(without stacking box cribbing underneath), but they do cost a bit more than free wood. Putting 4 in a bag to carry up to the scene seems a very rapid way to stabilize an upright vehicle. Hey Mitch, how about putting some on the TERC truck??
