ISO - on the way out?

I have recently heard that the use of ISO and ISO standards for fire departments is being phased out, although I'm not sure what, if anything, is replacing it.
Has anybody heard a similar story regardign ISO?

There was a reecent article that stated that State Farm Ins. (I believe) was dropping ISO standards and replacing them with some of their own. You may be able to look back in the news stories and find this article.
