Mentioned in a recent firefighting publication was the new Chevy truck which contains a magnesium supprt bar in the dash. My question is this: During a vehicle fire, will this support bar pose a problem for extinguishment based on the problems of years past with the old beetle bug cars? Any help would be appreciated. I am using this in a newsletter for our department. Thanks
