    Question Flashover simulator info

I am with the Baltimore County FD,Md. I am looking for any information out there on this type of simulator, was told it was Swedish in design and there are several units in the USA,some home made using cargo containers. Also any dept. near Baltimore that would have one in operation. Thanks, Safe firefighting...JB

The Rockland County Fire Training Center, located 20 miles northwest of New York City has one of the first Flashover Simulators on the east coast. Many east coast departments have come to our training center for this training.
It's about a 5 hour drive from the BWI Airport. That's where many of the Rockland County instructors and fire officers shack up in hotels for the Firehouse Expo. I can give you directions if you need it or you can call them directly at (914) 364-8800 and ask for the director of training.
