    Post IAFF membership

I would like to know if your department is IAFF affiliated, and if so, what percentage of your personnel are IAFF members.

Is your dept considering becoming part of IAFF?

If so, go for it! However, make sure you elect good people that can learn and push issues for your dept.

IAFF Local 3708...100% of those eligible are members. One probationary FF is not...he's not eligible until probation completed.

Local 36 - about 95% (maybe a little higher now, but there are a few who are too STUPID to recognize the benefit of union membership). Those are the same ones who are the first in line to bitch and moan when they are 'being screwed' by the Chiefs.
