I am posting this message to inform every firefighter reading this about a new tool to help us save our own. This new tool was developed to protect a trapped firefighter while the R.I.T. works to extricate them. It also serves as a very effective stretcher to transport that firefighter to safety once extricated.
The outer layer protects up to 1,000 degrees F. of radiant heat, steam, scalding water from hoseline runoff. Inner layer of HOT STOP1500 ''H'' will protect up to 2,000 degrees F. of direct flame contact. The rescue blanket/stretcher has twelve (12) built-in heavy duty double stiched carry handles which are reinforced with nickel plated steel rivets. When open the rescue blanket/stretcher measures 56'' wide x 8' long. When not in use it rolls up to a very portable 9'' diameter x 27'' long. The rescue blanket weighs just 19 1/2 Lbs. This is a must have for Rapid Intervention Teams.
Please E-mail me directly or post a message for more information.
