Does anyone have any further information on this subject?
I am interested in learning of the water rescues and flood evacuations.
If you have any further information regarding this matter or pictures of any flood rescue operations, please contact me directly.

I'm a county north of the flooded counties. Look at www.floydcountytimes.com or www.kentuckyconnect.com/heraldleader/ for news. Also see www.wymt-tv.com and www.wsaz.com for TV station coverage.
Currently they have one dead and another missing and presumed dead. Damage is estimated in the millions.
Our terrain is very susceptible to flash floods--narrow valleys (hollows) surrounded by high ridges; a little heavy rain will run out the hollow like lightning."Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.Ē
