Unless someone has either a) logged in or b) posted or replied to a message or c) has been to and registered for the forums and has the cookie working and enabled on their end (which can be flaky sometimes), they are logged in as a guest.
For the majority of visits to the forums, most are likely by people who are not members and have not registered but like to browse the posts. We estimate the ratio of members to non-members is 10-1 or higher.
Thanks!
