South Plattsburgh Fire Dept responded at 21:18hrs. to a reported roof collapse at the Yellow Freight terminal on Sharron Ave. First units on the scene reported a strong odor of propane around the building. The outside supply tank was shut off by fire dept personnel. Entry was made on a south door, to check for an hazardous material on the loading dock. No hazardous material was found and all personnel were removed from the building. Utilities were requested to the scene to remove power from the building. The roof was apparently weakened by last winter's major ice storm and could not bear the load of ice & snow the area has received in the last two weeks. All unit were in quarters at 23:06hrs.
