(the first msg was posted twice by accident) 2/2/99 While covering Deer Park FD's quarters (They were involved in a large abandoned store fire) The Commack FD responded to a phone alarm for a structure fire. First due Chief and Eng 2-11-3 found smoke coming from the front door. A search team found the seat of the fire in the basement in the wall and ceiling around the electrical box. A quick knock down with a can and dry-chem saved the house. No inj's to civilian or firefighter
