Hudson Falls Fire was alerted to a structure on Delaware Ave. about 4:30 am. First arriving units were confronted with a heavily involved structure threatening exposures on two sides. Master streams were used for a blitz attack on the structure while smaller hand lines protected exposures. The building was occupied as a carpentry shop which provided a heavy fire load. Initial reports stated that there was one person unaccounted for and a massive overhaul was started in search of this person after the fire was knocked down. This person was later accounted for about four hours into the fire. The fire is still under investigation. Hudson Falls was assisted by Argyle Fire which provided the FAST team, and So. Queensbury fire which provided cover in our station.
