At 10:52am the Blooming Valley VFD was dispatched by the Crawford County 911 Center for reported structure fire on White Hill Road. Upon arrival of first in companies, at approximately 11:00am, they found found a two and 1/2 story residential structure with 80-90% involvement. A woman and her three children, who were inside the residence at the time, noticed the fire then ran to a neighboring house and summoned "911". Blooming Valley VFD was assisted on scene by Cambridge Springs VFD, Townville VFD, Mill Village VFD, Randolph VFD, and Meadville EMS Ambulance Service. There were no injuries and the home was considered a total loss. The fire seemed to have started in the attached garage and moved rapidly throughout the rest of the structure prior to first arriving units. The last units returned to quarters at approximately 3:00pm. The Fire Marshall is still investigating the exact origin.
