early morning warehouse fire
At 06:30 ladder two and medic 5 were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident involing a car and light pole. Upon arrivel ladder two reported no car accident , but a working fire. They had heavy smoke and fire showing from side one with heavy smoke showing from sides 2, 3, and 4. Ladder two's officer ordered fire alarm to strike a first alarm. Companies were on scene for about two hours. The fire caused aroud 100,000 dollars in damage. The warehouse was a storage faclity for moblie homes. It was determined that the fire was started by an exploding eletrical box. There was one warehouse worker that was injured he sustained second and third degree burns on his left arm. He was transported by ems and taken to a near by hospital. An was released later in the day. There were no other injuries reported.
