Quints 1, 11, 8 and Rescue company 1 responded to a report of a house fire in the 500 block of N 32nd Street. Upon Arrival Rescue 1 reported heavy fire coming through the roof with an exposure on the D side of a vacant building. Within the first minutes of the arrival of the first companies, the fire quickly spread to a second vacantbuilding, then quickly to a third vacant one and nearly a fourth building. Batallion 1 requested a second alarm, bringing quints 5, and 13 with Rescue 2 to the scene. Then the third alarm was sounded bringing Quints 6 and 15 with Rescue 3 to the scene. The fire gutted all three buildings. The fire was brought under control at Approximately 0430 hours.
