At 1524 hours the Robert Fulton Fire Company of Wakefield, PA(Station 5-13) was alerted along with the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun, MD (Station 8) and the Water Witch Fire Company of Port Deposit, MD (Station 7) for a reported working house fire on River View Road in Fulton Township, Lancaster County. The first arriving units found a working fire in a 2.5 story, wood frame, single family dwelling. Engine 5-13-1's crew advanced 2 1.75" handlines into the structure and contained the fire in the attic. Crews from Truck 861 and Engine 712 opened the roof and assisted with fire suppression. Engine 813 established a draft site nearby and a tanker shuttle operation was utilized. The Union Fire Company #1 of Oxford, PA (Station 21) responded with a 2 piece engine company to assist with overhaul. The fire is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall.
