On 10/15/99 @ 21:41 hrs the Town & Country Fire Dept. of Horseheads N.Y.
respond to a reported house fire at 209 Veteran hill rd. Upon arrival of the
1st engine company they found heavy smoke conditions with open flame coming
from the back of the house.An aggressive interior attack with the fire was
contained to the bathroom and the hallway with smoke damage through out the
house.On scene the was 2 engine company and 1 tanker. The fire was under the
command of Chief R. Ben Colwell.
