Fox Lock

Has anyone come across a fox lock during
forcible entry> If so can you please explain
what this lock is and if you know where I can
get a picture of one.

The Fox lock is a brace type lock that uses a bar from the center of the door to the floor. Big in NY and other large cities. There is a picture in IFSTA's forcible entry book.
