Hoboken NJ (Hudson)12/07/99 0640hrs Hoboken Fire Headquarters turn companies out to a alarm of fire @ Monroe & Third St. Units responding found a 3 sty frm with fire out the third floor. A 2nd alarm was quickly sounded, along with a 3rd alarm and Jersey City was asked to send a Full Alarm assignment to the scene. FDJC batt 1 request a additional 1 eng & 1 trk to the scene bringing a total of 4 eng & 3 trks along with the Hoboken FD to battle this fire which threatened a church but was knocked down due to the combined efforts of both depts.

Union City NJ (Hudson)12/07/99 0815hrs North Hudson Reginonal Fire Control Sent all Union City units to 300 45th st for a fire in a OMD. Arriving units found heavy fire out of the 6th flr of a 10 sty OMD. A 2nd alarm was transmitted due to reports of people trapped on the fire flr. A 3rd alarm was sounded for manpower for the evacuation of the building. This fire was quickly knocked down, However Jersey City was asked to relocate and sent 3 eng & 2 trks .

Jersey City NJ (Hudson) 1139hrs a verbal alarm was made to the quarter's of Squad 4 reporting a working fire in a garage up the street from their quarters. Box 771 was tranmitted for 640 Communipaw Ave @ 1140hrs and sqd 4 requested a 2nd alarm @1141hrs. the fire was located in a 90X40 Garage, with extention to a 1 sty laudry (which was the scene of a 2-2+ alarm with 1 DOA). A 3rd alarm was transmitted as fire extended to a 2nd exposure. This was a very smoky fire as the original fire building had lots of oil and anti-freeze on the floors and walls. As you can see FDJC was spread thin, However they got the job done when it counted.
