Norfolk, Va: Approx 05:20 this morning Engines 2,6,10, Lad-10, Sqd-1, Rescue-10, and Batt-1 were dispatched to a reported working house fire on East Olbey Rd. Dispatcher advised units that police were on scene reporting a working fire with people trapped. Eng-2 arrived to find heavy smoke & flames from the front of the a single family dwelling. An agreesive interior attack and search were made but there was one fatality fouind in a second floor bedroom. The house had been converted into a rooming house, six other people escaped the structure. An additional engine was called for manpower.
