Well, sometime you just can't wait...

Our Ambulance Service is celebrating it's 10th anniversary on Feb 10th, and on the 4,691st run...we finally had a baby! No word on the name yet...but she couldn't wait anymore, and less than a mile before the hospital our ambulance pulled over for the delivery of a baby girl.

We have been *very* close before (including one run I was on were security at the hospital was holding the elevators for us as we rushed her to the maternity ward!) but we've always made it to the hospital in time before.

And to think, I rolled over on that first-response (Code 12? What the heck is a Code 12?)
